Claire has worked in family law since 2000 and qualified as a solicitor in October 2005. Since then, Claire has practiced exclusively in family law and can draw on vast experience in all matters concerning divorce and separation. Claire is a member of Resolution and adopts a non-confrontational, straightforward and solution focused approach to the issues arising out of separation. She is always conscious of the stress and anxiety that can be experienced by those affected by family breakdown and the impact this can have. Claire has a flexible, accessible and supportive approach and will proactively help clients to explore possible solutions and find the most appropriate outcome for them.
Claire has a wealth of experience in matrimonial finance to include matters with complexities such as company issues, off shore assets or assets which may have been acquired outside the marriage, high net worth and cases where resources may be stretched. Claire also has wide ranging experience in the matters that arise for unmarried couples on separation.
Prior to qualification as a solicitor, Claire worked as a family support worker supporting families in crisis. She has a wealth of experience in a vast range of legal matters concerning children and the issues that can arise for families facing or having been through separation.
Claire has trained as a Family Mediator and is a Resolution trained Collaborative Lawyer.
